Founded just after World War 2 in Singapore, Heap Seng & Co (Pte) Ltd embodies old-world distribution ideals steeped in trust, deep industry knowledge, and a solid global network for the 21st century.
Our people, partners, and possibilities share deep roots that have withstood the test of time. We offer the global market well-researched global food & beverage brands that are incredibly unique, driven by the profound passion of its founders, and almost always at the forefront of produce manufacturing.

Our Heritage & Story
Timeline
1955
Began distribution of Japanese tobacco
brands like Mild Seven and Seven Star and
Japanese sake, beer and various other brands.

1952
Heap Seng & Co (Pte) Ltd became incorporated.
First office was located at Malay Street
(current Bugis Junction), distributing Japanese frozen, chilled, and dried products.
1966
Fujiya Restaurant (Pte) Ltd incorporated
at Market Street (multi-storey carpark).


1962
Heap Seng moved to Orchard Road
(currently 313 Somerset).
1987
Heap Seng moved to the current office at Kaki Bukit and began distributing more brands of Japanese produce including Kikkoman soya sauces.


1972
Fujiya Japanese Restaurant (Pte) Ltd incorporated in Shenton Way Shenton House.
2019
Began distribution of award-winning
Frederiksdal cherry wines from Denmark


1992
Began distribution of Sapporo beer.
2022

Participated in ProWine 2022 featuring
Bodegas Trenza of Spain, Chocolate & Love and Frederiksdal Kirsebærvin of Denmark.


2024

Commenced distribution of FANGST canned seafood, bringing Scandinavian artisanal seafood to your table.
Introduced Copenhagen Distillery Whisky to the spirits portfolio, showcasing Danish craft excellence.
Expanded into organic beverages with English Tea Shop Organic Tea.
